Sorry if this post is long, and I’m using a throwaway account for obvious reasons. But I was just wondering if you can go to the hospital for a panic attack.

Long story short I’m going through a terrible breakup and I’m alone right now. My family is gone for a while and are aware of my situation. I’m extremely emotional right now. And I’m having a major panic attack that keeps coming in waves. I’ll be calm for a moment and then everything will just come crashing down again. I felt like I was going into shock.

I have a long history of undiagnosed and untreated depression and anxiety . I do not want medication unless therapy and other treatments never work. I feel as though this is killing me.
